Tottenham Hotspur have signed Argentina defender Marcos Senesi, with the Premier League club confirming he will join on July 1 after the expiration of his AFC Bournemouth contract.
The move is subject to international clearance, according to Tottenham's official site index. ESPN's confirmed Premier League transfer tracker also listed Senesi's move from Bournemouth to Tottenham as a free transfer.
Senesi Adds Premier League Experience
Senesi arrives as an experienced left-footed centre-back rather than a projection signing. Tottenham's official article said he spent four seasons at Bournemouth after moving to England from Feyenoord in 2022.
The 29-year-old began his career at San Lorenzo in Argentina before joining Feyenoord in 2019. Tottenham also identified him as an Argentina international since 2022 with three caps.
A separate Tottenham official index item said Senesi will wear the number five shirt after completing the switch on Wednesday, June 10.
