The New Orleans Saints will add Mark Ingram and Terron Armstead to the team's Hall of Fame during the 2026 season, recognizing two former NFL standouts who spent major parts of their careers in New Orleans.
NFL.com listed the honor in its June 18 league roundup, and Canal Street Chronicles reported that Saints Hall of Fame general manager Ken Trahan announced the 2026 selections Thursday. The induction ceremony date has not yet been announced.
Ingram And Armstead Join Saints Hall
Ingram gives the class a franchise running back with a long New Orleans resume. NFL.com credited him with 6,500 rushing yards and 57 total touchdowns during his first 10 seasons with the Saints, along with two Pro Bowl selections while with the club.
Canal Street Chronicles reported that Ingram was a 2011 first-round pick, No. 28 overall, and played for New Orleans from 2011-18 and again from 2021-22. He became the franchise's all-time leading rusher in 2021 before Alvin Kamara later passed that mark.
Armstead brings the offensive-line side of the class. NFL.com said he played nine seasons for the Saints, started 93 games and earned three Pro Bowl selections. Canal Street Chronicles added that the left tackle was a 2013 third-round pick, No. 75 overall, and received Associated Press All-Pro recognition in 2018.
Sal La Rock Receives Fleur De Lis Award
The Saints Hall of Fame also selected Sal La Rock for the Joe Gemelli Fleur de Lis Award. Canal Street Chronicles identified La Rock as the Superdome's press box security supervisor and reported that he has worked at the Caesars Superdome since 1998.
The outlet said La Rock began in event services for public safety and became press box supervisor two years later. The award keeps the class from being only about players, recognizing one of the operational roles around Saints game days.
The verified news is narrow and useful: Ingram and Armstead are the 2026 Saints Hall of Fame inductees, La Rock is the Fleur de Lis Award recipient, and the ceremony date is still pending. That gives New Orleans another offseason marker before training camp turns the page back to the current roster.
