RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande has put his name deeper into the Bundesliga transfer conversation, saying he admires Paris Saint-Germain while Liverpool are among the clubs monitoring the 19-year-old after his breakout season in Germany.
Diomande Draws PSG And Liverpool Attention
ESPN reported that Liverpool are interested in Diomande after a season in which he scored 12 goals, added nine assists and won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season award. Leipzig's opening valuation is EUR130 million, according to ESPN sources.
That valuation explains the tone around the story. Diomande is not being framed as a cheap young flier; he is being treated like one of the Bundesliga's premium development assets.
PSG are also part of the picture, and Diomande did little to hide his admiration for the French champions. He told French media that PSG are a club he has loved since he was young and said his father supported them.
RB Leipzig Contract Runs To 2030
Diomande also stressed that he remains an RB Leipzig player. He said he is focused on the World Cup and that clubs would handle whatever comes next, while making clear he still enjoys playing in Leipzig.
The contract point matters. Diomande said in early May that his deal runs until 2030, giving Leipzig leverage in any talks. With four years left on the contract, Leipzig can ask for a major fee rather than react to outside pressure.
World Cup Focus Comes Before Transfer Push
Diomande is expected to be one of Ivory Coast's key players at the World Cup, which gives the story another layer. A strong tournament could sharpen interest from PSG, Liverpool or others, but it could also make Leipzig's valuation look less like a warning sign and more like a starting point.
For now, the facts are clear enough: Diomande is under a long Leipzig contract, PSG appeal to him personally, Liverpool are monitoring him, and the Bundesliga club have put a price on the kind of talent they do not intend to lose casually.
