The NFL has announced 2026 training camp report dates and locations for all 32 teams, setting the league's summer calendar before the preseason starts with the Hall of Fame Game.
NFL.com reported Monday that the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers will be the first teams to bring both rookies and veterans into camp. Their veterans report July 22, ahead of the Aug. 6 Hall of Fame Game matchup between the two clubs.
Cardinals And Panthers Open The Window
The staggered reporting schedule starts before most teams bring in their full rosters. Carolina rookies report July 21 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, while Cardinals rookies and veterans are both due July 22 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The earlier arrival is tied to the extra preseason week those two teams carry because of the Hall of Fame Game. That gives Arizona and Carolina a slightly different runway than the rest of the league, though the broader pattern is familiar: rookies first, veterans shortly after, then full practices and preseason logistics.
By July 28, every NFL team is scheduled to have reported to camp. That date matters because it turns the league calendar from offseason planning into daily football operations: roster battles, health updates, installation periods and preseason depth charts all begin to move from paper to practice field.
Several Teams Leave Home For Camp
The NFL.com list also confirms where clubs will base their preparations. Most teams remain at their own facilities, but several still use external or hybrid setups. The Dallas Cowboys are listed for Oxnard, California, while the Kansas City Chiefs return to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are scheduled for Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and the Indianapolis Colts are listed at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana. The New York Giants have a split location entry, with Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Other dates give the calendar its shape. Seattle Seahawks rookies are listed for July 17 and San Francisco 49ers rookies for July 18, while several full-team veteran dates fall on July 28, including the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders.
The announcement does not decide roster spots or preseason form, and it should not be dressed up as more than it is. It does give teams, players and fans the official map for when the 2026 NFL season begins to take physical form.
