The Atlanta Falcons have finalized a four-year contract extension with wide receiver Drake London, keeping their top target under team control through a major NFL roster-building window.
Pro Football Rumors reported that London's deal is official and is worth $141 million, with the total able to reach $150 million through incentives. ESPN's Adam Schefter was cited for the headline terms, including $100 million guaranteed.
London Deal Sets Falcons Mark
The contract carries a $35.25 million average annual value, which PFR reported as the highest in Falcons franchise history. The outlet also reported that the deal includes $83.2 million in new guarantees, with $52.87 million fully guaranteed at signing.
London will receive a $33.65 million signing bonus, and his salaries for this season and next are fully guaranteed. If he remains on Atlanta's roster on the fourth day of the 2027 league year, his 2028 salary of $36 million will vest.
The structure includes multiple option bonuses and escalators that account for the gap between the base value and the maximum value. PFR reported that London is also due a $2 million roster bonus if he remains with the club by the third day of the 2030 league year.
Atlanta Locks In Its No. 1 Receiver
London was the eighth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and has become the center of Atlanta's passing game. PFR credited him with 100 catches for 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns in 2024, followed by 68 catches for 919 yards and seven touchdowns across 12 games in 2025.
The extension gives Atlanta continuity while the offense works through its quarterback picture. PFR noted that Michael Penix and Tua Tagovailoa are part of the current quarterback competition, with Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus also in the receiver room.
The Falcons still have other long-term decisions on offense. PFR reported that running back Bijan Robinson is eligible for an extension and that the front office had aimed to secure its two main offensive pieces.
For London, the practical effect is clear: a former top-10 pick who has already produced a 100-catch season now has the club's largest annual contract and a deal that places him among the NFL's highest-paid receivers.
