The Miami Dolphins are extending center Aaron Brewer on a three-year, $52.5 million deal, Pro Football Rumors reported, citing ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The agreement includes $37 million guaranteed and keeps Brewer under contract through 2029. At $17.5 million per year, PFR noted Brewer trails only Tyler Linderbaum and Creed Humphrey among NFL center salaries.
Brewer Extension Resets Miami Line
Miami originally signed Brewer to a three-year, $21 million contract in 2024 after he left the Tennessee Titans. The new deal turns that mid-tier bet into a premium commitment after Brewer's 2025 breakthrough.
Brewer joins running back De'Von Achane as a Dolphins offseason extension recipient. Achane signed a four-year, $64 million extension in May, giving the new Miami staff two core offensive pieces under longer-term control.
Brewer's path to that status was not straight. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, played both guard and center for Tennessee, started 17 games at guard in 2022 and then started 17 more after moving to center in 2023.
Dolphins Keep Center Certainty
His 2025 season changed the price. PFR reported that Brewer earned second-team All-Pro honors, while Pro Football Focus graded him as its second-best center and ESPN's pass block win rate placed him ninth among interior offensive linemen.
The extension gives head coach Jeff Hafley and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan a stable snapper as Miami reshapes the offense. PFR noted the Dolphins have also moved through major changes involving Tua Tagovailoa, Jaylen Waddle and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
For a team still sorting through multiple offensive line questions, Brewer is now the locked-in piece. The rest of the group can change around him; the center of Miami's line is no longer a short-term question.
