The Boston Bruins will retire Patrice Bergeron's No. 37 during the 2026-27 NHL season, the club announced on its official site Thursday.

Bergeron spent his entire 19-season NHL career with the Bruins after Boston selected him in the second round, 45th overall, of the 2003 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 8, 2003, retired in July 2023 and is listed by the team as a captain and forward from 2003-23.
