Arsenal Signs Greece Forward Tzolis From Club Brugge

LONDON — Premier League champion Arsenal has signed Greece forward Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge on a long-term contract.

Arsenal confirmed the transfer on its website without disclosing the precise length of the agreement. Tzolis arrives after producing 43 goals and 45 assists during his spell with Belgian champion Brugge.

The forward described joining the champions of England as “absolutely amazing” and emphasized his determination to contribute in front of goal. “I’m always hungry to score or to give the final pass,” Tzolis said.

Playing primarily on the left wing, Tzolis can also operate in other positions across the attack. Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta highlighted that flexibility as a central part of the forward’s game.

Berta described Tzolis as an extremely versatile attacker who is comfortable across the front line. He also praised the Greece international’s finishing with either foot, ability to work in tight spaces and technical quality.

Tzolis has made 34 appearances for Greece. He also brings previous Premier League experience from his time with Norwich.
