MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Liverpool had to settle for a draw with Chelsea at Anfield, with boos echoing around the stadium as the home side dropped points in the title race.
Chelsea broke its six-game losing streak thanks to Enzo Fernandez's bouncing free kick in first-half stoppage time, which Canceled out Ryan Gravenberch's early goal for Liverpool.
"This season they (fans) will have their opinion and it will not change, but if we can have the summer that we are planning to have I am 100% convinced we will be a different team next season," Liverpool manager Arne Slot said. "Different in terms of results, different in how things look."

Brighton 3 Wolverhampton 0 — Seventh-placed Brighton recorded the fastest goal in club Premier League history when Jamie Hinshelwood scored after just 35 seconds.
Manchester United 0 Sunderland 0 — Third-placed United failed to find a breakthrough at Sunderland, managing just one shot on target. Without injured striker Benjamin Sesko and Brazil midfielder Casemiro, United's attack lacked fluidity.
Lutsharel Geertruida hit the post late for Sunderland, which could have taken all three points.

Middlesbrough 0 Southampton 0 — The first leg of their playoff semifinal ended in a stalemate.
The buildup was dominated by allegations that Southampton spied on Boro's training. The English Football League charged Southampton with a breach of its rules after Boro complained there was "unauthorized filming on private property."
"Someone has made a decision to cheat," Boro coach Kim Hellberg said. "I am angry and disappointed because it's a big game and you try to get advantage in an unfair way."
