Bayern Munich fought back from a halftime deficit to score five goals in 38 second-half minutes, defeating RB Leipzig 5-1 in a remarkable turnaround.
Harry Kane scored his 21st Bundesliga goal of the season, breaking a tie with Manchester City's Erling Haaland as the leading scorer across Europe's top five leagues. It was a team effort with five different scorers, while goalkeeper Manuel Neuer also made crucial saves.
Leipzig blunders helped Bayern back into the game. In the 50th minute, Dayot Upamecano won possession and played in Serge Gnabry to score. In the 67th minute, Ridle Tokyo slipped while attempting to intercept a cross, leaving Kane with an easy finish.
After Kane's goal, it was one-way traffic. Jonathan Tah, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Michael Olise scored in the 83rd, 85th and 88th minutes respectively to complete Bayern's victory. Olise's goal was his 100th in all competitions for the club.
To cap off the match, attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala returned from injury as a late substitute for his first game since July, when he broke his left leg at the Club World Cup.
