Braves' Jose Azocar: Back with Atlanta on MiLB deal

Rotowire | May 11, 2026

Atlanta re-signed Azocar to a minor-league contract Monday. Azocar elected free agency last week rather than accepting an outright assignment from Atlanta, but he's now back in the organization on a new deal.

The 29-year-old will give Atlanta some experienced outfield depth at Triple-A Gwinnett.

Braves' Eli White: Sidelined by concussion

Rotowire | May 11, 2026

Atlanta placed White on the 7-day injured list Monday with a concussion. White suffered the injury during Sunday's win over the Dodgers when he crashed into the outfield wall after making a catch.

His timetable is uncertain, but White will be out for at least the next week. Mauricio Dubon will continue seeing more reps in the outfield while White and Ronald Acuna (hamstring) recuperate.

Braves' Ha-Seong Kim: Activated ahead of season debut

Rotowire | May 11, 2026

Atlanta activated Kim (finger) from the 10-day injured list Monday. Kim is ready for his season debut after working his way back from January surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right middle finger.

The 30-year-old infielder hit .286/.412/.321 with zero home runs, one stolen base and a 6:4 BB:K over nine rehab contests between Double-A Columbus and Triple-A Gwinnett.

Kim is set to take over as Atlanta's primary shortstop. Jorge Mateo had been seeking most of the reps at shortstop lately, as Mauricio Dubon has been needed more in the outfield with Ronald Acuna (hamstring).
