Canada Soccer and head coach Jesse Marsch will name Canada's official FIFA World Cup 2026 roster on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. ET.
Training Camp Update
The Canadian Men's National Team has selected 32 players to attend a training camp in Charlotte, North Carolina that began on May 25 and will run through the reveal date on May 29.
"These are the final days before we announce the squad that will represent Canada at a home World Cup, and the excitement in this group is real. We feel the momentum building across our country and we are calm, focused, and ready for this moment," Marsch said in a release.
Pre-Tournament Friendlies
Following the announcement, the team will play two pre-tournament friendlies against Uzbekistan on June 1 at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, and the Republic of Ireland on June 5 at Stade Saputo in Montréal.
World Cup Group B
Canada has been drawn into Group B alongside Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, and Switzerland. The CanMNT will open their tournament on June 12 at Toronto Stadium against Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by matches in Vancouver on June 18 against Qatar and June 24 against Switzerland.
