Red Sox's Kiner-Falefa Homers, Drives in Three Against Atlanta

Isiah Kiner-Falefa had a strong performance at the plate in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to Atlanta. He went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, three RBI, one walk, a stolen base and one run scored.

Kiner-Falefa made the start at third base, his fourth start in the last seven days, as he's seen time at both shortstop and third. With Marcelo Mayer taking over at shortstop the last couple games, IKF appears to be fighting for playing time with Caleb Durbin.

He homered off lefty Dylan Lee in the seventh inning before producing a two-run single off Raisel Iglesias in the ninth. Kiner-Falefa is slashing .278/.350/.370 with one home run, nine RBI, seven runs scored, four stolen bases and a 6:9 BB:K across 61 plate appearances this season.

Duran Hits Leadoff Homer

Jarren Duran went 2-for-5 with a solo homer in Tuesday's game. He took Spencer Strider deep to lead off the bottom of the first inning and later singled in the ninth to put the potential winning run on base for Boston.

With the two-hit night, Duran has four multi-hit games in his last nine contests. He's 11-for-37 (.297) during that span with three doubles, one triple, three homers, eight RBI, five runs scored and one stolen base.

He's raised his slash line to .198/.269/.365 across 212 plate appearances this season.

Suarez Struggles in Loss

Ranger Suarez took the loss Tuesday against Atlanta, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts across five-plus innings.
