The Knicks are in the NBA Finals for the first time this century after finishing a sweep of the Cavaliers on Monday night, winning their 11th straight game and clinching the Eastern Conference crown for the first time since 1999.
They will face either the Thunder or the Spurs in the Finals, with the Western Conference Finals currently tied at 2-2 after the Spurs' Game 4 victory on Sunday night.
Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 33 points in Game 4, finishing with a +29 rating in 31 minutes of play, while the Thunder managed just 38 first-half points.
The Knicks have been shockingly dominant since Game 4 of their first-round series against the Hawks and will have more than a week off before the Finals tip on June 3.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won his second straight MVP award last week and will try to lead the Thunder to their second straight title. No NBA team has won back-to-back championships since the Warriors in 2017-18.
