Ralph Priso has earned a vote of confidence from teammate Thomas Müller for a possible call‑up to Canada’s World Cup squad.
Müller’s Support
“If you want to have a dynamic player, strong player, fast player, call him up,” Müller said after Vancouver’s4‑2 win over San Diego.
Priso’s Return
The 23‑year‑old defender returned from injury on Mar. 21, netting his first goal of the season in the process.
“Feels good, training is nothing like the game, so it’s good to just get back out there,” Priso said.
World Cup Prospects
In January, the Toronto native was invited to the senior team for a training‑camp friendly against Guatemala, though it did not count as an official cap.
“It’s just good to be healthy. I still have to build back to where I was before the injury, but it’s good to know I’m back and available, so we’ll see what happens with the World Cup.”
