Update: Rangers shortstop Corey Seager remains sidelined with a back injury and won't be re-evaluated for approximately another week, per Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News.
The veteran infielder has yet to resume baseball activities as he continues dealing with the injury that has kept him out of action since early May.
Rangers Roster Moves
The Rangers made several roster adjustments Sunday, recalling right-handed pitcher Gavin Collyer from Triple-A Round Rock to reinforce the bullpen.
Pitcher Cole Winn was placed on the 15-day injured list due to right arm fatigue. Winn struggled in his last start against the Angels, recording just one out while allowing two earned runs on two hits.
Outfielder Evan Carter was held out of the starting lineup against left-handed pitcher Reid Detmers. Sam Haggerty started in center field in his place.
Third baseman Josh Jung also sat out Sunday due to left shoulder soreness. He exited Saturday's game in the fourth inning but indicated he expects to return shortly. Ezequiel Duran replaced Jung in the lineup.
