Federico Dimarco scored a stunning 25-yard free kick into the top right corner to celebrate his Serie A MVP award, as Inter Milan drew their season finale 3-3 against Bologna at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
The midfielder was presented with his award just before kickoff, marking the perfect moment to open the scoring in a match that held little stakes for Inter, who had already secured the league title and Italian Cup.
Federico Bernardeschi leveled just three minutes later, and Bologna took the lead shortly before halftime when Tommaso Pobega's volley took a double deflection.
After the break, Inter midfielder Piotr Zieliński turned a cross into his own net early in the second half, seemingly putting Bologna on course for victory.
However, Pio Esposito reduced the deficit in the 64th minute, tapping in a rebound after Andy Diouf's effort bounced off the post. Diouf then doubled his tally in the 86th minute to complete the 3-3 draw.
Inter coach Cristian Chivu had given players heading to the World Cup an extra week off — Hakan Calhanoglu, Manuel Akanji, Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries — but captain Lautaro Martínez started as the Argentina forward needed more playing time after returning from injury.
Pedro Bids Farewell To Lazio With Winning Goal
Pedro marked his final match with a winning goal as Lazio came from behind to beat already-relegated Pisa 2-1 at home.
The 38-year-old winger is leaving Lazio after five years with the capital club. He previously played for Barcelona, Chelsea and Roma, winning the World Cup with Spain in 2010 and the European Championship two years later.
Lazio players wore a special commemorative patch on their shirts for his farewell appearance.
Pisa took the lead through Stefano Moreo, but Lazio turned the match around with two goals in as many minutes from Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Pedro.
