2026 NBA playoff bracket, schedule: Knicks take 2-0 lead vs.

The Knicks have won nine consecutive playoff games and are now just two wins away from the 2026 NBA Finals. New York went up 2-0 against the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals, pulling away in Game 2 at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night.

The streak dates back to Game 4 of their first-round series against the Hawks. They'll try to make it 10 on Saturday night in Cleveland.

Western Conference Finals Tied

The Western Conference Finals are tied 1-1 after two close games between the Thunder and Spurs. OKC, the reigning champs, bounced back in Game 2 on Wednesday after San Antonio won an overtime thriller in Game 1.

Game 3 of the West Finals is set for Friday night in San Antonio.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Wins Second Straight MVP

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won his second straight MVP award on Sunday, and now he'll try to lead the Thunder to their second straight title. No NBA team has won back-to-back championships since the Warriors in 2017-18.

Playoff Bracket Overview

The Knicks are back in the conference finals for the second season in a row, but they have not won the East since 1999. The Spurs have not been to the NBA Finals since 2014.

The Cavaliers were last in the Finals in 2018 but have never made it without LeBron James.
