Serie A Champions League race: Inter and Napoli are in as Milan, Juve and Como aim to punch UCL

With just one Serie A matchday remaining in the 2025–26 season, plenty is still to be decided.

Inter clinched their 21st Scudetto and were the first team to secure qualification for next year's UEFA Champions League. Behind them, the race for Europe remains wide open — four Champions League spots are up for grabs, along with places in the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League, setting up a tense and unpredictable finish to the campaign.

How Many Teams Will Qualify?

Italy's Serie A won't receive additional spots next season in the Champions League due to the disappointing European results of the current season. The top four will qualify for the Champions League.

There will be two Europa League spots — one for fifth place and one for the Coppa Italia winner. After Inter's Coppa Italia win, sixth place is now guaranteed access to the Europa League next season, while the seventh-placed team will play Conference League soccer.

Inter — Serie A winners: qualified for the 2026-27 Champions League

Napoli — qualified for the 2026-27 Champions League
