Canada Soccer to Unveil Men's National Team Roster for 2026 World Cup on May 29

Canada Soccer announced that it will unveil its Men's National Team roster for the FIFA World Cup 2026 on Friday, May 29.

Coach's Remarks

Jesse Marsch, MLS Canada Head Coach of the Men's National Team, said in a release:

"We have a group of players who are incredibly excited and ready to represent Canada at a home World Cup, in front of our own fans and in our own stadiums. We are looking forward to incredible support from Canadians and passion to push us through and are completely focused on making the country proud. Allez Les Rouges."

Group Stage Details

Canada has been drawn into Group B alongside Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Qatar.

Match schedule:

  • June 12 — Toronto
  • June 18 — Vancouver
  • June 24 — Vancouver

Pre-Tournament Friendlies

The announcement will precede Canada's pre-tournament international friendly window:

  • June 1 vs. Uzbekistan — Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton
  • June 5 vs. Republic of Ireland — Stade Saputo, Montréal

All 104 tournament matches will be available on TSN beginning on June 11 at 3 p.m. ET when co-hosts Mexico take on South Africa at Estadio Banorte in Mexico City.
