Chelsea officials have held discussions with the mother of Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, as new manager Xabi Alonso seeks a reunion with the French striker.

Alonso's transfer wishlist includes Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick, along with Real Madrid midfielders Brahim Díaz and Dani Ceballos.
