France striker Jean-Philippe Mateta requests transfer from Crystal
Jean-Philippe Mateta’s Selhurst Park career could be winding down.
BBC Sport’s Alex Howell reportsthe France striker has told Crystal Palace he’d like to leave the club.
Mateta, 28, has a contract that runs through the summer of 2027. He has eight goals in 21 league appearances this season.
“There will be a price that Crystal Palace [would accept], with 18 months left on his contract,” Glasner said. “We’d do the deal, if JP wants. If nobody pays that price, then he will stay.”
パリ近郊出身のマメタは、2021年にブンデスリーガのマインツからイーグルズにレンタルで加入し、2022年に1800万ユーロで完全移籍となった。
Palaceで4シーズンにわたり、マテタは151のリーグ戦で46得点を、全競技では56得点を記録している。
Matetaは、昨春FA杯を制したEaglesチームのメンバーでした。
国際的には、Matetaは2024年パリオリンピックでフランス代表として銀メダルを獲得する活躍を見せ、4得点を挙げました。彼は昨年の10月にレ・ブルーux（A代表）デビューを果たし、フランス代表3キャップで2得点を挙げています。
